Christmas 2008

Sooo we went to Johannesburg to spend Xmas with my father and Step mother.

I cant remember to much.
but I can remember that on the 26 of December was the first time I was able to feel the baby move properly and Brett could feel her too! It was super amazing.
we were sitting in bed one evening, ready for bed and I could feel this thump, thump on the inside. So I thought I would see if I could feel it from the outside AND I COULD so I told Brett to feel and he could feel it too. She was kicking away it was too cute!

Brett also came up with the baby's name while we were away.

that will be her name! and its beautiful!

Christmas - Our time in JHB *Pics*

Wow what a week!

One thing i have to say, i have started to get heartburn on a regular basis!! i ate a peach and got such bad heart burn!!! A PEACH?!

Christmas it was really nice, everyone was so happy to find out that bug is a girl!!! We having a princess and I cant wait!

Here are some pics of us on Xmas day.

26 December 2008 marked the day that Brett felt our little princess move for the first time! I was so shocked! it was the first time i had felt her move on the outside!

i was lying on my back and she started to kick! I could feel it so strong and when i put my hand there i could feel it too. I grabbed Bretts hand and he was sooo amazed!! we didnt think we would feel it so soon!! it was amazing! SHES IN THERE, SHE''S REAL!!

We also went to the Zoo and the lion park while we were up this side of the country and we got some really nice shots!

Brett also came up with the baby's name while we were away.

Week 16 and some great news!!

SOOOOO WE HAD OUR SCAN THIS WEEK... not just any scan... but A GENDER SCAN!!!




ISN'T THAT GREAT!!!

I was sooo hoping for a girl! i didn't get my hopes up but I was deep down inside wanting a little girl.

And a psychic Brett went to see Pam said girl with a strong personality!

SOOO we are not going to tell anybody until Christmas, keep it a surprise so that everyone has something to look forward to for Christmas day.
We will be in JHB with my dad for Christmas so we gonna do something special to let the other family know the news.

People are starting to notice that I am pregnant!!! It’s so nice to know that i am starting to look pregnant!

week 13

THE BEGINNING OF THE SECOND TRIMESTER!!

This week we bought our first baby stuff!!

They prevent colic and I was surprised to see how cheap they were!

This week I also think I am starting to feel bug move. It feels like bubbles and I don’t think its gas.
I am starting to get a nice little bump. It’s so cool!

19 November Our 2nd prenatal appointment

All went well! Doctor is happy with baby's progress and so am I! measuring right on time at 11kws and 3 days. We have a beautiful video of our Buglette wiggling and dancing.

8 November A Momentous Day!

8 November - Dad's Birthday!

symptoms: nausea!!!! aaaah!!! almost all day!!! sore boobs and serious serious food aversions!!

So its my husbands birthday today, and what a day for have this happen!!

We tried out our fetal doppler and YES WE FOUND OUR LITTLE BUGLETTES HEART BEAT!! nice and strong! Racing away!
It was too beautiful!!

I first listened to my own heart beat so that I could tell the difference between the two. Mine is slow.

When i started looking for buglettes i found it after about 15 mins. It was fast and i could tell it was buglettes heart beat.

I am so happy that he/she is ok... cant wait to see you on the 19th my baby!!
